Aria beamed; there was always a certain thing about books that brought people together. If he loved a good book then he was certain to enjoy the library on her territory. She nodded about the statement; he was wise when it came to certain things…less so on others. She chuckled at his comment about it being inconvenient that his money was useless here.
’Doesn’t seem like that will slow you known any though”
When he proposed his own deal; Aria sat back and mulled on it. It wasn’t as binding was what she had suggestion.
”I will agree to this; however understand while you reside on my territory, temporary or not this clan is responsible for you and your actions.”
Aria laughed at his grand imagination for whatever he had previously done. But it would not surprise her if that was the case; he already seemed to like to spin tales. But seeing how the deal was made Aria slid him over this twin blades and his set of knives.
”Those are an interesting set of blades you have there…very very old…do you remember how you came across them?”
She recognized what those blades where….so she was curious to know where he managed to get his hands on them.

"If I spend my time mourning the memories of the past how can I create new ones?" Rivers asks with a smile as he spreads his hands and looks around. As she tells him the clan is still responsible for his actions he closes his eyes and contemplates. "Well why don't you tell me the ground rules first then?" He says as he returns to his seat. "I won't sign a contract till I know what it says."
As the knives and blades were slid over to him he passes his hands over the knives and they simply seemed to vanish in thin air. It was pretty clearly slight of hand, but it was well practiced, to a showy and almost pointless degree. He picks up the blades and looks at them as she asks her question.
"Well I can spin you a grand tale of how I attained them through heroism, daring and cunning, but in this case I have simply forgotten. Though I do not feel much sentiment towards them so they are probably more a tool than a part of me, maybe I am just not a sufficiently good swordsman to develop such a connection to my questions." he admits though he found the knives a comfortable fit.
"That aside you seem to know a thing or two about what I am carrying, care to fill me in?" He asks curiously.
