The Barbaric Archipelago
The Barbaric archipelago is a stretch of ocean that is filled with many islands; the inhabitants of this stretch are a vast amount of dragons and Vikings. There are some named and unnamed islands that make up the Barbaric Archipelago eight of them are occupied by clans, the others are sometime neutral zones are filled with non- Viking inhabitants. There are also large portions just inhabited by dragons alone. Down below is a brief list of the islands you will find.
Northern Territories
Peaceable Country: Is a neutral territory inhabited by those who are not in a clan what so ever. They refuse to take part in war and thus are a colony full of pacifists. They primarily specialize in livestock such as sheep and cows, and often supply the other islands.
Outcast Lands: This island is rocky, barren, and full of wild dragons which makes living extremely difficult for the Outcasts. A large labyrinth of caves can be found on this island chipped out of the rock that they live on.
Amber Slave lands: Also known as the Visa Thug territory; Lava louts often run there slave wrangling from this stretch of land. Much like the outcast island it’s filled with caves and is mostly rock with small grassy plains and high jutting peaks.
Western Territories
Isle of Berk: Home to the Hairy Hooligan clan, this island is known for its harsh and long winters, and short summer periods. When it’s not snowing it’s raining or hailing; its landscape is filled with tall mountains, and thick forests.
Meathead Islands: Much like the hooligans its winters are long however they are shielded by the worst of it by Berk. They have flatter land on Meathead, allowing more farming to take place.
Murderous Island: The highest point in the Barbaric Archipelago is located on the large mass known as Murderous Island. The main places that are inhabited are tight up against the coast nestled in-between wreckers bay. There homes are carved out of steep rock cliffs, often connected via rope bridges. To get anywhere else on the island captive dragons must be used. These dragons are often have their spirit broken and do little else other than transport.
Eastern Territories
Blood Spit Bay: These are dragon hatching ground, the bay is teaming with fish; and the waters are warm. Steaming lava vents pour into the bay creating steam pools in which are perfect for little hatchlings. Many Dragons flock here to lay their eggs, and protect the territory. No human has ventured here without a fight.
Berserk Island: Beserk island is filled with old thick trees, its lands are mostly marshes; so many of the houses are built on stilts. What is solid is usually large area of rocks. The island itself is dangerous to navigate, else wise you may be sucked into the muddy marshes and never seen again.

Southern Territories
Hysteria Island: Hysteria island is actually a group of small islands directly south from Berk and Meathead Islands. Strong currents rush into the islands, making it easy to get to but almost impossible to leave unless you’re able to travel by air.Swallow: Swallow is a large island also known as the boneyard; Its filled with the corpses and bones of dragons. It is the perfect habitat for bonenapper dragons; a thick fog also surrounds the area giving it quite the ominous appearance. The fog itself seems to swallow up the island and any who cross into its borders hence the name.
The Waterlands: The waterlands is a large island filled with natural forests, streams, lakes, and hot springs. Many come here mainly because its one of the warmest climates around. The hot springs are a popular spot for both dragons and Vikings to frequent…however unlikely at the same time.
